2019 Dry Rosé of Pinot Noir
Silver Thread Dry Rosé is pure, liquified terroir. 20-30 year old Estate Pinot Noir vines were farmed using bio-intensive methods, including no-till soil management and biological disease management to the greatest extent possible.
It has aromas of freshly squeezed ruby grapefruit and raspberry that lead to a soft texture with flickers of minerality. Drink now for optimal freshness.
Pairing suggestions: surprisingly versatile–pair with shrimp, cold salads, chevre on crostini, grilled pizza or contemplate while watching the sunset.
Production notes
Grapes were hand-harvested from September 28-October 4, 2019. Careful sorting at the vine ensured optimal ripeness and fruit quality.
Grapes were pressed directly, allowing a hint of color and minimal tannins. Two-thirds of the juice was fermented in stainless steel, while one-third was fermented in neutral oak and underwent malolactic fermentation to soften and broaden the texture.
