Our annual Summer Solstice celebration will be Saturday, June 17th, 2023!

We’re excited to give our most famous event a makeover for 2023: a six-course progressive dinner by Lake Life Catering, including a wine pairing with each course. Guests will move from station to station – on different parts of the estate (though never too far away from the tasting room) – and we will all gather together for dessert and a toast at the bonfire for a grand conclusion.

Upon your arrival at 6pm, you’ll be greeted with a welcome wine and a chance to prep your palate at the grazing table. Groups of 10-12 people will then "progress" from station to station around the property. At each scenic station, a Silver Thread team member will serve the next course + wine, and chat with you about the vineyard, winery, geology, and natural history.

The menu will feature seasonal, locally-sourced ingredients including: an antipasti grazing table, grilled veggies, lemon chicken skewers, asparagus & strawberries, grilled shrimp & clams, and strawberry shortcake. *If you have any dietary restrictions, please let us know in the notes section when you purchase your ticket.*

$80 per person includes six-course dinner with wine pairings. Please contact us regarding tickets for children.

Club members receive $10 off tickets.  Please login to receive your discount.

Cancellation Policy: Due to the expense of putting on this event, tickets are non-refundable after May 31st.


Frequently Asked Questions

1.) How has the event changed from prior years?  After 10 years of the same event layout, we decided to make some changes. We took the best aspects of the event-touring the vineyard and waterfall, talking to the winemakers, sampling the newest wines-and combined them into a new format. Instead of one large tent with tables placed behind the winery, the event will take place all around the property with seating under smaller tents at each "station." It will be like an extended tour of our property with food and wine at each stop along the way. This year, wine pairings are included in the ticket price.

2.) What if I have limited mobility? We will have a golf cart available to move people between stations, and guests will be seated at each station. We can also set aside a table for you on the deck if you'd like to stay in one place instead of moving around.

3.) What if it rains? We have a rain plan that would allow everyone to be under cover during the event. Tickets will be limited to 50 guests so that we can fit everyone inside in the event of rain.

4.) What should I wear? This event is mostly outside, so please wear comfortable clothes and closed-toed shoes. High heels and flip flops are discouraged--they will interfere with your ability to navigate the paths between stations. We encourage bug spray.

5.) Can I pick up my wine club and/or buy wine? Yes. Phenology Club June pickups will be available at the event. The tasting room will be open throughout the evening if you'd like to buy additional wine to drink during the evening (a 2oz. wine pairing is included with each course) or buy bottles to take home.

6.) Can I bring kids and/or pets? Please call or email us to order a children's ticket (which includes food only). Pets are not permitted.
